Frequently Asked Questions
You can be referred to us either by your doctor or by self-referral. In either case, our clinicians will assess your condition to confirm a diagnosis and create a personalized treatment plan for you. Although we do accept walk in, we encourage patients to book an appointment for a smooth functioning of the clinic and avoid waiting time. During your 1st session you will receive:
- A thorough assessment from one of our expert clinician.
- A clear diagnosis.
- Hands-on treatment to relieve any immediate pain or symptoms.
- A follow-up report outlining your recovery program and timeframes.
Depends on which treatment or services you require.
We would expect you to bring all of your relevant clinical documents and investigation reports. Please wear or bring appropriate clothing so that your clinician can assess the affected area or joint. For example, if your pain is knee-related, tight trousers would be difficult to roll up, consider bringing a pair of shorts or a loose trouser.
During the assessment process, your clinician may need to complete a number of provocation tests. These are designed to replicate symptoms so the clinician can pin point the cause of the injury. This can temporarily exacerbate symptoms and may even worsen them for a short while after the session. This is normal. Please reach out to us if you have any concerns.

We take all complaints very seriously and use every piece of feedback as an opportunity to improve our service. We also actively ask for feedback from our clients.
At the Kinex Health we aim to deliver an exceptional level of care and customer service to all patients and visitors.
In an effort to be consistent with this aim, Please find the Cancellation and Did Not Attend Policy we operate that allows us to schedule appointments for all patients that require treatment.
Please allow a minimum of 24 hours notice when you know that you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Our Policy:
● First Occurrence: We appreciate that things happen. If you cancel within 24 hours or do not attend your appointment for the first time, we will apply discretion and no charge will be made.
● Second Occurrence: A second late cancellation or non-attendance will incur a 50% charge of the appointment fee.
● Third Occurrence (and any thereafter): Any further late cancellations or missed appointments will be charged 100% of the appointment fee.
We do understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may result in a short notice cancellation or non-attendance requirement and will always do our best to recognize cancellations that are out of our patients control.
However, cancellations and no shows hinder our ability to administer treatment to all those who require it and decrease our capability to operate in an effective manner.
